Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Snuggle & Stay Pet Sitting website and services.

Services

We provide pet sitting services at your home, including overnight stays, daycare, and pop-in visits. The specific services available, their prices, and availability may change from time to time. We will always confirm the details of your booking before any service begins.

Meet & Greet

A free meet and greet visit is required before any first booking. This allows us to meet your pets, familiarise ourselves with your home, collect keys, and go through your pets' routines. No charges apply for the meet and greet.

Pet Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Cats should be vaccinated where applicable. You must inform us of any lapsed vaccinations before your booking.

Feeding & Medication

You are responsible for providing sufficient food, medication, and supplies for the duration of your pet's care. Detailed feeding and medication instructions must be provided before the booking. We will follow your instructions exactly as given.

Key Holding & Home Access

You are responsible for providing safe and reliable access to your home. Keys provided to us will be stored securely and returned upon request. Key safe codes and alarm codes are stored using encryption and are only used for the purpose of accessing your property during booked visits.

Emergency Veterinary Treatment

In the event of a medical emergency, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you and your emergency contact. If we cannot reach you, we may authorise emergency veterinary treatment to protect your pet's wellbeing. All veterinary costs incurred are your responsibility.

Bookings & Cancellations

All bookings are subject to availability. Once confirmed, we will send you a confirmation via email and/or SMS. Cancellation terms are as follows:

  • 72+ hours before: full refund
  • 48–72 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: no refund
  • No-show: no refund

For extended stays (3+ nights), separate cancellation terms may apply — please check at the time of booking.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due before the start of care.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about yourself and your pet(s).
  • Informing us of any health conditions, behavioural issues, or special requirements your pet may have.
  • Ensuring your pet's vaccinations are up to date.
  • Providing sufficient food, medication, and supplies.
  • Ensuring your home insurance covers third-party visitors.
  • Disclosing any hazards in or around your property.

Liability

We are fully insured with public liability insurance (£5m). We take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pet whilst in our care. However, we cannot accept liability for any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries arising from your pet's own behaviour, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
